Ball, James Presley:

(1825-1905) James P. Ball was an African American photographer who was active in Cincinnati, OH in the 1840s-60s. He had a gallery called the Great Daguerrean Gallery of the West. He featured other African American artists works including the painter Robert S. Duncanson.
