Competition Phase
The first phase consists of the design development by the student competitors. This phase will begin July 20, 2009 and will stay open until January 5, 2010 when the designs are due by 5 PM EST. During the first phase competitors may ask questions via the blog.
Competitors should note that the registration days are different. Designers and design teams are allowed to register only from July 20, 2009 until December 30, 2009.
After the closing of the competition the jurors will convene and discuss which designs best represent the goals and objectives of the competition. 5 winners will be chosen based on the criteria listed below. Winners will be notified by February 5, 2010 and allowed to change or modify their designs based on feedback from the jurors.
