Bacon’s Rebellion:
Led by Nathaniel Bacon, Bacon’s Rebellion was a revolt against the Virginian settlers who were taking land from the Native Americans. Leading over 400 yeoman farmers and laborers, Native Americans, and free and enslaved blacks, the group burned down the colonial capital. The revolt ended when the leader Nathaniel Bacon got sick and died from dysentery.
